A politician follows the pulse of his electorate and tells them what they want to hear. A leader tells his people what they should hear and leads them to a better place and educates them from acting against their own long term self-interests.

A politician knows the pulse of 51% of his electorate and follows the current mood of the people. A leader knows where his people stand, and then he educates and leads his people to a better way. Unfortunately, we no longer have any leaders or role models.

Authors write on what they know in their space-time (geography and era). And in the end, I could no longer cheat on my intellect and pick and choose on what was convenient, easy, and politically correct in my space-time.

We assign meanings to events because meanings give us clarity, and clarity gives us peace. Random events without meaning creates uncertainty, and uncertainty causes anxiety.

We term lions and tigers as savage animals because they kill for food using their bodies. And we call ourselves 'civilized' because we hunt with weapons for sports, and use guns and bombs to massacre millions for land and differing 'ideas'.
